This is the easy way to uninstall and reinstall Outlook Express. You may require a Windows CD or your computer's Restore CD. 1. Select Start Button / Control Panel / Add & Remove Programs / Add & Remove Windows Components 2. Find Internet Explorer in the list (Outlook Express is part of it) and uncheck it 3. Click Next, and then Finish, exit Control Panel and reboot computer 4. Select Start Button / Control Panel / Add & Remove Programs / Add & Remove Windows Components 5. Find Internet Explorer in the list (Outlook Express is part of it) and check it 6. Click Next, and then Finish, exit Control Panel and reboot computer. If this procedure doesn't work, I suggest you download a fresh copy of IE or Outlook Express from microsoft.com and install it over your current copy.
