| This is a simple Backup Batch File that can be run as many times a day as you like. The file simply takes all the Files on a computer you work on daily and backs them up to another PC, Server, Network Drive, or a Zip Drive. The first time the backup file runs it copies and transfers all files in the Backup folder to the destination folder on another PC, Server, Network Drive, or a Zip Drive. The second time and any time there after the backup batch files compare the files with files in the destination folder and copies only the files that have changed. Our Backup Batch Files are all setup to run using the Scheduled Tasks manager from the Operating System you have. This file has been setup and run on a PC using Windows XP Pro to a Windows 2000 Server for two weeks for testing purposes. It can also be run in reverse meaning Windows 2000 to Windows XP. |
