Memory Management
If you find that you are short on
system memory, you can make an adjustment that may give you a little
extra.
Here's how:
- Go to Start> Run, type in
regedit.
- Follow this path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control/Session Manager/Memory
Management.
- Click on Memory Management to
show its contents in the right pane. Double-click "DisablePagingExecutive"
then adjust the DWORD value accordingly.
- Set this to 1 if you want to
allow kernel paging, 0 if you don't.
