Documenting Your Forms In Access 97/2000 Here's another great use for these tips: When you're documenting your Access 97 and 2000 applications, this trick comes in handy when you're capturing screen shots for a user's manual. If the Access window is "on top" of your desktop, pressing [Alt][Print Screen] captures the entire Access window. But what if you just want to capture one of your forms? You could "grab" the whole Access window and manually crop out everything but your form. But it's easier to change one of the form's properties so that it's the only window "visible" to Windows when you press [Alt][Print Screen]. To do so, open your form in Design view and open the form's Properties sheet. On the Other tab, change the Pop Up property to Yes. Next, switch back to Form view and press [Alt][Print Screen]. Then paste the image into a Word document, and you'll see that you captured a "clean" copy of the form, without the rest of the Access window. (Unless you want the form to stay on top whenever it's open, be sure to reset that property.)
