Base a new Access report on an existing form 97/ 2000 Although printing data straight from its Form view may not always be desirable, you'll come across situations when a required report closely resembles the form that was used to enter data. In such cases, you can save setup time by saving the existing form as a report object and modifying the result. To do so, select the appropriate form in the Database window. Then, in Access 2000 right-click on the file, choose Save As from the shortcut menu and select Report from the As dropdown list on the subsequently displayed Save As dialog box. If you're using Access 97, you can simply right-click on the form and choose Save As Report from the shortcut menu. Finally, enter a name for your report and click OK.
