You Can Link to Outlook from Word in Outlook 97/2000

When working in Microsoft Word, you can create a link to Outlook's Inbox, Contacts or Calendar. To do this, you must have AutoFormat As You Type set to Replace Internet and Network Paths With Hyperlinks. To access Outlook's Inbox from Word, type Outlook:inbox and double-click it. You can also type "Outlook:contacts" or "Outlook:calendar". Each works in a similar manner. (To set the AutoFormat as You Type option in Word, from the Tools menu, choose "AutoCorrect" and select the "AutoFormat As You Type" tab. There are several features that you can turn on or off, one of them is Replace Internet and Network Paths With Hyperlinks.)
