Adding Shortcuts to Your Outlook Bar If you've been working without the Outlook Bar for a while and then decide to give it a try (select View, Outlook Bar), you'll notice one thing immediately: Any custom folders you added to the folder list do not appear in the Outlook Bar. You have to put them there yourself. First, open the folder list (select View, Folder List) if it isn't already displayed. Click and drag any of your custom folders from this list over to your location of choice on the Outlook Bar. (Alternatively, right-click a custom folder, select Add To Outlook Bar, and it appears at the bottom of the Outlook Shortcuts list.) Repeat these steps for each custom folder, then close the folder list. You won't be needing that anymore!
