De-fragment Your Hard Drive

  1. Click Start, Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Defragmenter. 
  2. Highlight (click on) a drive in the top pane of the Disk Defragmenter window that appears. 
  3. Click the "De-fragment" button in the lower pane. 
  4. The system will automatically de-fragment your hard drive, showing the progress, and will offer a printable report when completed.
