Create a New MMC Tool

1. Click Start, Run, type "mmc" without the quotes, click OK. 
2. A blank console window should appear. Choose "Add/Remove Snap-in" from the "Console" menu. 
3. An "Add/Remove Snap-in" window should appear. Near the bottom left of that window, click the "Add..." button. 
4. An "Add Standalone Snap-in" window should appear. Choose one of the available management tools, and click the "Add" button. 
5. Depending on the tool selected, you may be prompted for more information, such as whether the tool will apply to the local computer, or a remote computer. 
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for as many tools as you want to appear in your custom MMC tool. 
7. Click the "Close" button when finished selecting tools. 
8. Click the "OK" button to return to the MMC window.
9.  From the "Console" menu, choose "Save As" and save the console in a handy place, with a meaningful name, such as "Gary's Special Tools."
