Emergency Recovery Utility On the Windows 95 CD, there is a program called "Emergency Recovery Utility" (ERU). This is used to create an emergency boot disk of your current systems configuration. First, you will need to format your floppy disk. Make sure you check the box titled "Copy System Files" in the "Format" dialog box. Place the Windows 95 CD into your CD-ROM. Browse thru /Other/Misc/Eru/. At the "ERU" folder double click on "Eru.exe". You will be guided by Windows from here. Now, if your system fails, you can reboot your system using this floppy. It will automatically restore your settings the way it was when you made the disk. The ERU does not support multiple floppies so it may be necessary to skip files when making an emergency boot disk. See the files in "Custom" that the ERU will skip. Skip other files as well and make a note of the ones that are skipped so you can later, back them up manually
