Finding hidden files

Go to "My Computer" and double click it. Click on the "view" tab, then "options" or "folder options" (depending on Win 95 or Win 98). 

Click on the "view" tab and select "show all files". 

Click "OK" or in Win 95 click "apply" then "ok". Your system will now be configured to automatically show all files when you search.
