Will Windows 98 run on your computer?

Look at the "Hardware Compatibility" list at "http://www.microsoft.com/hcl/" to see if your hardware will work with Windows 98.

If you already have Windows 98, this would also be a great site to determine the best hardware to upgrade in your system. From the main screen, type the brand name in the "Search for the following:" box, then choose the type of hardware from the "In the following types:" box.

The result will tell you about all products in that category by that company, and tell you which Microsoft operating system(s) the products will work under.
