You Can Uninstall Internet Explorer 7!

If you have difficulties using Internet Explorer 7 Beta, you can downgrade your system to the most recently-installed version of Internet Explorer.

To do so:

1. Click "Start" - "Control Panel".

2. Select "Add or Remove Programs" (this may require double-clicking).

3. Scroll down to "Internet Explorer 7" and click the "Change/Remove" button. Follow the on-screen prompts as needed.

Note that this tip is for a BETA version of Internet Explorer 7, Beta 3, and subject to change based on new beta releases and/or the final version of the product.

Change The Logon Screen Saver In Windows XP!

After the Windows XP system boots up, it will prompt you to select a user account from the Logon screen. If you don't log on within 10 minutes, the OS automatically runs the logon screen saver, which consists of the XP logo floating around on a black background.

To configure your XP system to use a different screen saver, perform this simple registry edit:

1 Launch the Registry Editor (Regedit.exe).

I don't publish the actual hacks in my newsletters! You can get this one at my Customer Support Site! This is a Free Site that I am combining several sites to. All that you have to do is register if you haven't already!

5 Close the Registry Editor.

6 Restart Windows XP.

Now, when your system boots, the new screen saver will appear after the system is idle for 10 minutes.

Note: Editing the registry is risky, so make sure you have a verified backup before saving any changes.

Add Programs To Start Menu In Windows 98!

If you have a program that you want on the Start menu, simply left-click and hold the program's icon and drag it to the Start button. Don't let the button go. Within seconds, the Start Menu will open, and you can drag the program or file. Release the Mouse button.

Now click to different menus and sub menus until you find the right spot and drag your program to its new home. Once done, click the Start button to save your changes. To remove the program or folder, simply right-click it and select Delete.
