You must already be connected to the
network in order to add a network printer.
- Click on Start, then click on Printers
- Select A Network Printer click Next.
- Select Connect to this printer. In the
name field, type the address to the appropriate printer in
the following format: \\server\printername
- Choose whether or not you want to set this printer as Windows
default. Click Next, then Finish.
If you are asked for a username and password, enter
admin\test01 for the username field and your password for the password
field, as shown below. Depending on your Network Setup
and Security this can vary. Some networks do not require
anything in the window below while others do.
