Change Your Home
Page In Internet Explorer 6!
Is there a site that you visit every time you browse the Web? If so, you can set
it as your home page. That way, it will appear every time you start Internet
Explorer or click the Home button on the Internet Explorer toolbar.
To Change Your Home Page:
1. Go to the Web page you want to make your home page.
2. On the Internet Explorer Tools menu, click Internet Options.
3. In the Internet Options box, on the General tab, click the Use Current
button.
4. Click OK.
Tip: Make note—you can make your home page blank, and if you're a person who
wants Internet Explorer to start speedily, a blank home page can't be beat. In
Step 3 above, click the Use Blank button. Internet Explorer will display a
perfectly blank page every time you start up.
Be careful! Some Web sites display an option to make their page your default
home page. If you select this option, your current home page may be replaced
without giving you a warning. To restore order, follow the steps above.
