IF00307 Modify The System Configurations On Your Windows XP Computer.Some errors may occur because of the System Configurations on your Windows XP computer. This article explains how to use the System Configuration Utility to turn off applications that automatically start when your computer boots up. This utility is available on computers that have Windows XP and newer operating systems. You must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group in order to complete this procedure. If your computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may also prevent you from completing this procedure. Warning: Microsoft strongly recommends that you do not use System Configuration Utility to modify the Boot.ini file on your computer without the direction of a Microsoft support professional.
