Q.
"Network Connections" Folder Empty.
I recently
went to my
control panel and found the "Network Connections" folder empty. I
hadn't been in there since I switched from dial-up to DSL and I suspect that
installing the DSL connection somehow deleted the entries. How can I restore
them?
A.
Couple of Possibilities for this one.
First.
Click On
Start, Run. Type in cmd and Press Enter.
When the
dos window opens type in the following hitting enter after each one.
regsvr32 netshell.dll
regsvr32 netcfgx.dll
regsvr32 netman.dll
That should do it.
The dynamic libraries are hashed, likely due to some "Free"
spyware search or
crap program.
Second.
If
netman.dll gives you an error do the following.
Download
the dll from this site and save it in c:\windows\system32\
http://www.dlldump.com/dll-files/N_3.html
Then just register
the file in the registry by Clicking Start and Then Run and typing in the
following.
regsvr32
netman.dll
Remember to
Press Enter.
I hope this will help you!
