Q. Please help! My task bar is now upside down, that is, the Start button is upside down on the lower right side of the screen (that is, if I put the task bar at the bottom. If I pull the task bar to the top, it appears with the Start button upside down and on the upper right hand corner. My desktop has also rotated 90 deg. The icons are now lined up towards the top of the screen. What can I do?

A. It sounds like the screen rotation feature of your graphics card has been activated, somehow.  Unfortunately, every graphics card is different and I do not know the exact steps that you will have to go through to change it back. However, I can point you to the correct area to investigate.

Right-click anywhere on the Desktop (not on an icon) and select the "Properties" option.  On the "Settings" tab, click on the "Advanced" button.  From this point, go through each of the tabs and click on buttons to see if there are any options for rotation.

I hope this helps.

Update:

Try CTRL+ALT+Up Arrow key.

OR

Adjust Display Settings

-Right click on an Empty place on the Desktop

-Choose Properties

-Settings tab

-Advanced button

-Select the Rotation tab if your card has one.

Let me know if you need anything else.
