Q.  I am having a problem when starting up Windows - a message appears with a Windows - No Disk error. I have seen similar posts, and have followed the first steps. I have run Hijack This and saved the log file. Also, when booting in Safe Mode, there is no error message.

Any advice on what to fix based on the Hijack This log?

A.  After reading her HighJackThis log I gave her the following to do.

Give this a try:
Open QuickTime Player. From the File menu, choose Open Recent, then choose Clear Menu.

After that click on Start, Run, type "msconfig" in the window (without the quotes), click on the Startup tab, scroll down the list and uncheck "qttask", then click apply.

Restart your computer. After the restart a window will pop up, simply put a check mark in "Don't show this message or launch the system configuration Utility when Windows starts".

Let me know if you need anything else.
