Q.  I was wondering how to stop my computer from auto filling in: search bars and email subject lines, login username lines etc. I would also like to know where to delete this information, I though it would be under internet options but it isn’t there, as far as I know, if you could help that would be great.

A.  It sounds like you are using Internet Explorer, so I will take you through the steps for Internet Explorer.  I do not know the steps for Netscape or Firefox, but they are probably similar.

Open up Internet Explorer and select the "Internet Options..." option from the Tools menu.  Click to the Content tab and click on the "AutoComplete..." button.  Uncheck any of the checkboxes that specify information that you do not want to have automatically filled in.  Then click on the "Clear Forms" and/or "Clear Passwords" buttons to clear out that information.  Click on the OK button, followed by the Apply button, and the OK button again.

Let me know if you need anything else.
