Q.  I am having problems installing 16 bit programs on our computer.  The programs are supposed to work but the following box pops up when we try to run them.

16 bit windows subsystem
C:/windows/system32/autoexec.nt.
The system file is not suitable for running MS-Dos and Microsoft Windows applications.

In the past we did not have this problem.  What does this mean and what should I do?

A.  I have personally run into this issue myself. From what I recall the solution is fairly painless. It is actually a known problem to Microsoft so I will let you read the fix right from the horses mouth, You can find out what you need to do by going to "http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;324767".
