Q. There are about 500 fonts in the fonts folder but MS Works word processor only has about 200 or so. How can I use the fonts folder when I type a letter, for example?
If you look closer at the fonts folder you will probably notice that most of the
fonts in there have more than one listing. For example, my fonts folder has
Arial, Arial Bold, Arial Bold Italic, and Arial Italic. When I open up a word
processing application, all four of these fonts will be combined into the Arial
heading. I will then have the option to turn bold and italic on and off, as
needed. My fonts folder also contains Arial Black and Arial Narrow fonts, but
these will appear as their own entries because they are different fonts.
