Q.  I am uninstalling in the add remove programs the way you said it seems to work FOR NOW I would be grateful if you could tell me any other way if all else fails or for the really awkward programs. Thanks allot.

A.  Using the Add or Remove Programs utility is the best way to uninstall a product.  For the products that this utility is unable to uninstall, the best thing to do is to install the product again and then try uninstalling them.  The reason you do this is because the product may be refusing to be uninstalled because it is missing some piece of the program that it needs to uninstall.  If the Add or Remove Programs utility still won't uninstall, then try to find an uninstall program within the directory structure of the program.

If the program will still not uninstall, then you should search the internet for information regarding that program.  The chances are, at that point, that you would have spyware, adware, or virus software.  I have never seen a legitimate program that would not uninstall using Add or Remove Programs or its uninstall program (although some may take a couple tries with the reinstall/uninstall method).
