Q.
I can not click on any desktop icon the usual double click to open the program I
must right click and it works fine. I just reformatted my drive and now this is
what I have.
A.
Do you mean that the right mouse button is behaving like the left one should and
the left mouse button is behaving like the right one should? If so, then it
sounds like you turned on the left-handed flag.
People who are left handed primarily use the right mouse button because that is
the button that is under index finger when you hold the mouse in your left hand.
Therefore, there is a setting to reverse the buttons for left-handed people.
To change this setting, click on the
Start button and select the "Control Panel"
option. Open the "Mouse" Control Panel applet. Click to the Buttons tab and
find a setting that would swap the left and right mouse buttons. Normally, this
setting is labeled "Switch primary and secondary buttons", but if you have a
different mouse
driver installed, it may be something completely different.
Make whatever change needs to be made to this setting to return the mouse
buttons to normal. Then, click on the Apply button, followed by the OK button.
