Q.  Please help me on this as this is very URGENT!!!!! I am using Windows XP Pro, at first I want to create a guest account for my colleagues who can use my computer so that I can protect my documents. But I accidentally created the guest account as administrator. So when I start the computer it goes direct to the guest account as administrator, and I can't log in to my previous settings. So can you help me on this how to restore back as a previous administrator? Or how can I access to my own documents and settings?  PLEASE PLEASE help me on this.

A.  Let me make sure that I fully understand exactly what is wrong. During the user configuration, you somehow set up the computer automatically log into the Guest account, which is also, accidentally, an Administrator?  Is that right?

If so, then, oddly enough, I just had someone yesterday who happened to do something very similar.  They actually just did the auto login to Guest part.  So, you are actually a little luckier because an Administrator can edit the user configuration.  Use the following steps to correct the situation:

1.  Click on Run on the Start menu.
2.  Type "control userpasswords2" and click OK.
3.  Select the Users tab.
4.  Check the "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" option.
5.  Click OK.

If this doesn't work or I misunderstood the problem, please let me know.

Let me know if you need anything else.
