Here is
How To Run a Complete System Diagnostic with Vista!
Some of you may already be aware of this
feature, but I stumbled across this rather handy tool the other day in
Windows Vista. It runs a complete system diagnostic on your PC, and
it’s built right in to Windows Vista.
First, click on the start Orb,
.
Then choose Control Panel,
Make sure that Control Panel is in Classic
View.

Then Choose System,

Then you should see a Rating for your system, click
on the words Windows Experience Index, which
appear next to your Rating.

Then on the left side, you will see Tasks,
under Tasks, Click on Advanced Tools.

Then at the bottom of the list of tools you will
see Generate a system health report. This is
the system diagnostic tool Double click on it and run the tool.

It
takes a few minutes. To get the best results make sure you
don’t have any applications running and make sure to run this
tool and then let it finish uninterrupted (in other words,
don’t minimize it and then continue to do something else on
your PC).
