I Also Have The How-To For Installing Ultra VNC!  Just Click Here!!

Installing VNC is a fairly easy install.  These screenshots are taken from a PC running Windows XP Pro.  The setup is about the same on all versions of Windows.  The screens may vary a little in other Windows Operating Systems!  To start just double click on the file that you downloaded from Real VNC When you get to the Real VNC page you are not required to fill out the form.  Just put a Check Mark beside Windows 9x/2000/NT/XP (x86) and click on the proceed button.

To start just double click on the file that you downloaded from Real VNC.  The setup window will open and all you have to do is click Yes to proceed.

The next window that comes up just recommends that you close all running programs before moving on with the install wizard.  This is something you should do when installing any new software.  Click on the Next Button as shown in the window below.

The next screen you will see is the License Agreement that you see in all software that you install.  Just scroll down though the screen and then Click On the Yes button to move on.

The next window below just gives you a choice of the Destination Directory.  You can usually get along with the default windows as shown here.  When you have selected the Directory just click on the Next Button to move on.

The next window shows the Full Installation which is what you will want for using our Remote Help Service.  Just click on the Next Button.

This window just gives you a chance to name the Start Menu Folder that the program will load to.  Just click on the Next Button when you have made your choice.

In the window below you can Select Additional Tasks that you may want.   I usually just recommend the Default Setup as shown below.  Just Click on the Next Button to move on to the next window.

Windows XP and Windows 2000 Users select the Register VNC Server as system service.

The window below is just a review of everything that you have selected to install VNC on your Computer.  Just look over it and click on the Install Button.

Just one more window to read over before the program installs.  Just read over it and click on the Next Button to finish the install.

The window below just shows you that Setup has finished installing VNC on your computer.  Click on the Finish Button the exit out of the setup.

That's about it for installing VNC.  Next I will show you how to use it in order to use our Remote Connection Help Sessions.

Just Click Here to find out how to Use Real VNC once it is installed.
