Start Menu Program Files Running Off The Right Of The Screen?

Q. Do you have so many programs installed that when you Click On The Start Button and go to Programs some of your Programs run off the Right Side Of The Screen?

A.  The following screens will explain how to make your programs Scroll In A Single Column instead of moving to the right of the screen in rows.

The first thing you will want to do is Right Click on the Start Button and select Properties from the Small Menu that pops up.

The picture below is the one that opens when you selected Properties from the Menu Above.  I have the Classic Start Menu selected in this example.  In order to change the way your Programs Appear when you Click On The Start Button I will have you Click on the Customize Button as shown in the picture below.  

The Picture below is what you get when you Click On The Customize Button.  All that you need to do now is to Scroll Down the list of Advanced Start Menu Options and make sure that Scroll Programs has a Check Mark inserted.  

Next just Click on OK and then OK again and then Click on your Start Button and select Programs.  You should now see one scrollable list of Programs.  No more trying to start programs files you can't see.
