USB Port May Stop Working After Removing Or Inserting USB Device!Try the following to stop this from happening to you! Right Click On My Computer and Select Properties as seen below!
After you click on Properties you should see the following window open! Next select the Hardware Tab and move to the next picture below!
Once in the Hardware Tab select the Device Manager Button!
When you select the Device Manage Button You will see A window Like The Following Open! Click on the Plus Sign beside the Universal Serial Bus Controllers Icon to expand the menu.
Right Click on the USB Root Hub and select Properties!

shown all five of the Windows you will see in the USB Root Properties. For
this Problem it is the last Window Or the Power Management Tab that you are
interested in!
If Your Desktop PC has a Check Mark in the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power box un-check it and see if that takes care of your device problems!
