Restore your Windows XP taskbar to the bottom of his screen
It's easy to move your taskbar.

1. Click and hold an empty area of the taskbar.
2. Move it to the bottom of your screen, the other side, or the top of the screen.
3. Release your mouse button when the taskbar is where you want it.
Enhance your interface by applying themes in Windows XP!
Themes are a set of visual elements, including the style of the windows, colors, fonts, background, and screensaver images, which provide a unified look for your desktop. Themes can also encompass the set of sounds associated with Windows events, such as opening and closing a program. Windows XP provides a whole host of built-in themes you can apply to your desktop.

To apply a new desktop theme, right-click on an empty area of the desktop, and then choose Properties. Make sure the Themes tab is selected in the Display Properties dialog box. Any background image and color and font settings you've already specified appear as My Current Theme.

Next, display the Theme dropdown list and select another theme. The elements of the theme appear in the Sample box. If you select the More Themes Online choice, you'll be brought to the Microsoft Plus! For Windows XP Web site, which allows you to purchase and download additional themes. Click Apply to see how a selected theme would look on your actual desktop. The dialog box stays open, but the theme is applied throughout your desktop. Click OK when you've decided on the theme you want. The appearance of your desktop is updated to reflect the theme.
Share your digital images in ME!
Have you ever wanted to quickly share with friends and relatives a digital picture you just took, but didn't want to waste time saving the image to your hard drive first before you could attach it to an email message? This is possible with Windows Me as long as your camera is connected directly to your computer.

All you need to do is plug your camera into your computer and in your email software, follow the steps necessary to insert an image (in Outlook Express choose Insert | Picture and then click Browse). Your email package will ask you to locate the image, and all you need to do is browse to where your camera is located on the file tree. Select your camera, then locate the picture you want to attach.
