Remove Add/Remove Program entries in Windows. Some-times when you have removed a program in the Add/Remove Programs feature, it will stay in there, although its contents are removed, it still remains. If you would like to get rid of this file name, here's how: Go to Start> Run, type in regedit and press OK on your keyboard. Follow the string below: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Uninstall. At Uninstall, click it once to show its contents in the right pane. This will give you a list of all the programs in your Add/Remove programs list. Click once to highlight any file you want to remove, and select Delete. |
