When a device is not working

Hold your mouse arrow over the "My Computer" icon on your desktop. Right click, choose "Properties", then select "Device Manager". Check to see if any items have a yellow exclamation mark (!). If so then highlight that device by clicking on it and select "Properties", it might explain the error. Sometimes choosing "Refresh" fixes things. If not, choose "Remove" and then "Refresh".
