Dealing With Windows 98SE Shutdown Problems

As annoying as it is to have this happen, it really is no big deal. If the "Windows Is Shutting Down" screen is visible, you can go ahead and shutdown after about 30 seconds without any problem. Microsoft has a fix for this Windows 98 SE bug here
