You can configure Windows 98 to Browse folders in the same Window If you browse folders in Windows Explorer and dislike how it opens folders in a separate window, you can configure Windows to Browse folders in the same Windows by going to View> Options, click the Folder tab. Choose Browse Folders Using A Single Window, then click OK. If you have IE 4.x installed (or a later version), go to View, Folder Options. In the "General" area, select "Custom, based On Settings You Choose". Click the Settings button, select "Open Each Folder In The Same Window", and then click OK.
