Windows 95 installs the following TrueType fonts into the Windows\Fonts folder During a typical installation, Windows 95 installs the following TrueType fonts into the Windows\Fonts folder. Because Windows 95 or other applications may require one or more of these fonts to run and to display dialog boxes as expected, It is recommended you do not delete them or remove them from the Fonts folder. Windows 95 also installs several hidden font files (e.g., Marlett.ttf, Dosapp.fon, Vgafix.fon, etc.), which do not appear in Windows Explorer or in the Fonts Control Panel, but may appear in font management utilities (e.g., Ares FontMinder). Windows requires these hidden font files to run. Do not delete them or remove them from the Fonts folder.
